Design. Manufacture. Install.

Our unique process features an engineering-forward approach, 3D-integrated design, in-factory machine manufacturing, and the consolidation of skilled trades.

How We Work

Design for Prefab in 3D

Utilizing Computer Aided Design (CAD) software throughout our process ensures that each modular product prioritizes functionality, while accommodating necessary equipment and back-end utility routing. On the front end, our expertise in systems design gives us insight into an optimized end-user experience. Our process always begins with collaborative planning and lots of listening on our part. This up-front research allows the Capsule team to work according to the facts, ensuring we get it right the first time. What you order is what we create.

In-Factory Machine Production

After design is complete, we manufacture a vertically integrated product, directly from CAD design to the production floor. This means that what you order is built to precision—all in one place—by turning a flat pattern into cut parts. Our automated machinery cuts structural parts from stainless steel sheet metal, making the process efficient and precise. No longer are nails and hammers required to scale, we have a button for that.

Vertically Integrated Assembly

Our combination of detailed design, consulting, equipment specification, cabinetmakers, plumbers, electricians, finish carpenters, installation, and documentation drives efficiency. We can contract with your GC to turn a previously multi-trade design into a vertically integrated piece of equipment.

Our Factory

We currently occupy 34,000 square feet of light industrial space in Anaheim, CA. Our factory is where we design, produce, assemble, and ship worldwide. Approved designs go straight from our computers to the production floor. Our factory manufactures to UL standards, ensuring that each build leaves our facility with the UL electrical enclosure certification and the UL sanitation certification (equivalent to NSF).

Our Supply Chain

Our supply chain is robust and ready to scale to your production demands. We have an engaged chain of more than a dozen vendors for various scopes of metal manufacturing, finishing, and aesthetic overlays. This supply base drives our lead times, since metal cutting and bending are fundamental tasks in our manufacturing process.
